Rich Products Corporation’s food products not affected by Wright County egg recall

Buffalo, NY, August 23, 2010 –

Based on the Wright County voluntary egg recall, Rich Products Corporation has issued the following statement:

No Rich’s products were impacted by the Wright County’s voluntary egg recall due to possible salmonella contamination. Rich’s does not utilize product from Wright County Egg. Rich’s also does not use raw eggs in any of its processes. The eggs that Rich’s purchases are heat treated, thus eliminating the presence of salmonella. All heat treated eggs which are purchased by Rich’s are tested by the supplier and confirmed as negative for salmonella prior to shipping.
